says she never thought about being on earth as a rental, but this is a very interesting thought. We just hope that on Maui there are ways to rebuild and heal, but knowing the Hawaiians, there will be many, many beginning to find ways to begin…and several relief funds have been started.
The devastation in Maui is terrible…many purrs for the people there as they recover.

That’s a great thought, Loulou. I’m sure the people of Maui will rebuild and heal. Humans are incredibly resilient in devastating times.
Oui, they are and so many are helping but there are also the bad guys trying to get cheap land and stealing things.
Mr. Ali is right – life here is “pay your way” – help others and help will come back to you. There is so much strength in the people of Maui but the devastation is so hard to imagine. Time heals all wounds and we know the spirit of the island will help the healing.

Oui, Teddy, the islanders help one another often and I hope, too that all start rebuilding and healing.
That is a good thought, esp in these times, when so many seem to be islands…society needs peeps to be aware of others and to befriend and help them, esp when there is such dire needs as with the Maui disaster.
Oui, you darling doggies, we must not be islands in these strange days. Maui will heal but oh, what a city to burn like that. So beautiful before…
