Because of the security needed in Washington to ensure that President-elect Biden is safely sworn into office, there was no celebration at the Martin Luther King Memorial. Martin Luther King is remembered today as he will always be on January 18th for his courageous stand against inequality and injustice.
What would he think of the depths to which our nation has sunk? What would he wish us to do?
He would hold fast to his dream and encourage us all to do the same. Together.

Well, Mamma moved to France – and will always be GLAD and GRATEFUL !!! Especially now. BUT we will watch the inauguration on Wednesday night and hope all goes well. Crazy times.

But they are a small group compared to true Americans who love their country and the radicals don’t seem to realize that they are Americans and free because of huge sacrifices of so many for THEIR freedom. They just don’t get it. Their sense of entitlement to harm others is beyond understanding. Their fear of “other” and “different” is beyond understanding. And I’m sure they are from families were were immigrants originally, as we all were.
