Well, you know that song, Wastin’ Away Again In Margaritaville? That’s exactly what I’m doing except with a Niparita—the latest drink for HOT kitties! No wonder mama and papa get out the limes in this weather. Whatever limes are.
Me, I just use my very own nip bed to make my refreshing drink:
1 part nip leaves, crushed
A little pinch of sugar, not a lot, since it’s not good for kitties.
Crushed ice — “borrowed” from mama’s ice bag (she uses an old chef’s hat for crushing ice cubes, haha)
Mix well, sit back and enjoy the rest of the summer. Big times are coming up in our little ville. The festival of St. Vincent, patron saint of Collioure. There may be thousands of tourists pouring in for the music and food and fireworks.
UH, OH, fireworks? Have to get my plans shaped up for those…
Or, maybe I’ll peddle Niparitas to visiting kitties!
