Nervous Nellies

Do I have to be in my traveling apartment again.  Damn! I mean, mince! (darn)

That’s what some of us are around here when we’re unsure of how to do something or how something might turn out and it’s usually before a move from one place to another and that’s how I am feeling right now as I watch mama and papa put things in that box called a suitcase (where I was sweetly sleeping until rudely awakened) and so I think we are off on our nomadic life again.

This time, however, it’s the lady renting us a house who is, shall we say, a bit concerned.

“Come a bit early”, the agent said, “because we want to straighten things out about the cat”, (that is I they are discussing) and mama said, “Oh, I’m happy to come early but I want you to know that Loulou stayed in the Windsor Hotel there for several nights and the lady said, “WHAT?” And then mama said, “Oh, and don’t worry about her toilette, because she goes on the john.”  And the lady said, “WHAT?”

And then mama said, “And we’ll bring her scratching post with us.”

And that made everyone happy as clams.

I think.

Well, as soon as I get the lay/lie of the land where we are going, I’ll report just what I have in mind for making myself at home, or to home, as they say in Texas.

But will I have my computer there? I’m not going without it, okay?

All I know is that they have told us that the weather is better in winter where we are going than the weather where we are, and a friend who lives there said, “Oh, it’s supposed to SNOW on Monday.”

Uh, oh.

And I don’t have a snowsuit!

Maybe a good warm neck scarf might help…

I borrowed mama’s and she’ll never miss it, haha.
