Moody Blues

Why would I want to be THERE, when HERE is so much better?

Well, mama and papa are puzzling over why I disappear at night and go upstairs to sack out on their bed instead of watching the Roma-Bologna soccer match on the couch where I normally snooze after dinner.  They build a nice fire and I stretch out on my couch and doze off to the commentary on the game, or maybe a movie or whatever is they are watching.

But lately, I have disappeared, leaving them all alone without my scintillating company in our usual threesome at night.

I think that THEY think I am punishing them…diets can do that to one.  A kitty on a diet does not have his or her wits about him or her and can get really moody, that’s for sure.

I sort of like it that they miss me and keep calling, “Loulou, Loulou, where are you, and why aren’t you joining us as you do every evening?”

Heh, heh, should I tell them what’s bothering me, or keep up my ruse of disappearing until they finally REALIZE that my TUMMY IS GROWLING?  Can’t you two HEAR IT?

And that’s not ALL that will be growling soon…just you wait! Grrrrr…

Serena says, if you force them to play with you, you’ll burn off more calories on a less restricted diet…also possibly motivate someone to send you another cat to play with, as cat games tend to be exhausting, embarrassing, and often painful for our big dumb stinky friends!

“I love my brother…if anything, even MORE because he was born to a different mother, a hundred miles away.”

Yes, Loulou. Make them suffer. If you can, hide their food. Or better yet, eat it, teehee. Mama now has in her head that Moody Blues song “Sunday Afternoon”….wonder if they did one about food? Nothing comes to mind. But I’ll bet we could do a duet. Have they started giving you raw veggies mixed with kibbles yet? They think we’ll eat anything and won’t notice. Well, I’m a dog and will indeed eat almost anything, but I DO take notice. Yes, Loulou, keep up your stance.

Poor little Loulou. If they insist keeping you in a state of near starvation, let me know.
I will start a worldwide petition sur le champ :

TOUS UNIS POUR SAUVER LOULOU, LE CHAT CATALAN !
