UH, oh, those pigeons are out there looking wistful and hungry and they have JUST EATEN ALL THE SEEDS THEY COULD POSSIBLY HOLD! Do birdies never get full!
*****
Our spark to day is “share and share alike.” One of the best choices in disputes over who gets what, mama thinks. Well, our little birdies are out there in the garden at their feeder just peckin’ away at their seeds and having the time of thier little birdy lives! Sometimes there are 10 or 12 trying to get at their seeds but enough drop on the ground that they all have a chance to feed.
So do those pigeons!!! But mama and papa’s favorites, Levi and Brownie are the ones who show up every day, spoiled rotten by now by mama giving them food when they stare at her through our kitchen door, and they really STARE! And they chat to one another all the time…and other things….

Is she going to feed us? ……..and we are sharing this: FYI

We believe that birdies get full, but pigeons neffurr…We love your little furriends, Angel LouLou😸More Pawkisses for the both of you🐾😽💞
You two would have a ball chasing these birdies!
No pigeons around here BUT we do feed the birds and they remind us by flying up onto the deck railing outside the kitchen and STARING inside if Mom forgets to fill their feeder when it gets empty. It’s a HUGE feeder so between the birds and squirrels (and an occasional deer!) it is food for a while. We’re happy to help feed the critters who keep us entertained!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
LOVE this…and wow, post a pic of your feeder one day. Ours is small but if we have a big one the pigeons push out the little sweeties.
It’s amazing what big appetites birds have. Whoever defined “to eat like a bird” as being to simply peck at a little something but not eat much had never tried to keep a bird feeder full!
It’s true and especially in the morning when they entertain us at breakfasst…well, not me, but I can see all of it anyway from up here!
Nice photo and spark. XO
Merci, Ms Ellen. Do you look at your instagram? There is a wonderful man making hats for cats.
Awe, there is fun going on when the wild birds have become sort of tame and even get names!
I found a pretty pigeon for you!
OOH…he she it they are pretty! MERCI. Did your mama draw that? WOW.
No way can I draw like that! It is an element from my picture making stashes. But it was ‘purrfect’ for this post!
WE LOVED THAT BIRDIE! MERCI mucho…it lifts the spirits and we hope sweet Dalton is better!
Well, improved but not nearly 100%…
Oh, it takes time to get over something like a rat encounter. The vet must have help, no? He is a healthy doggy and we adore him.
