It may look as if I am snoozing, but I am actually ruminating, whatever that is, on Friday Fill-ins! Such fun….
*****
But we love Thursday Thanks, too.
Et oui, we are always thankful for you, dear readers, who put up tra la along with mama on her rants and raves! Merci on this Thankful Thursday.
And we look forward to your Friday Fill-ins, which we LOVE to read.
And thanks to the two extraordinary women who think them up!
And even though it is supposed to be HOT HOT HOT today, we are thankful for this weather to grow mama’s tomatoes and wandering all over the fence squash!

Those veggies love the heat!
Wait until you see the squash….
It’s heating up over here too…..weeks of rain and now HEAT. Typical “confused” Spring!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Weather has to be the strangest part of our world right now, aside from that you-know-what….
I am so glad the garden is doing well!
Oh, boy, so are we!!!I might even sneak in a visit when no one is aware…
I am thankful for you and your mama. Her squash are a lot bigger than ours. XO
Well, these are special wandering squash that make really weird-shaped squashes…squishes?
Bravo squash ! We love squash (especially like my Uncle Roy grew – the tan jug-shaped ones). But with butter and salt and pepper (or in some cases brown sugar) all kinds are enjoyable.
Love the jug-shape description! So good in winter in soups and baked and …zucchine are mama’s favorite for almost anything but simply cut up and roasted in the oven until they caramelize, olive oil, salt and touch of lemon before serving.
Good thankful and we look forward to the Fill-ins!
Aren’t they FUN!!! We’ll take a look at yours, too.
Garden fresh tomatoes sure are good!
Mama is giving them some magic elixir that is supposed to make them GROW GROW GROW…we’ll see. It’s an ominous black powder…organic something or other.
