Well, mama is thankful that she is at the point that news may become obsolete in the morning.
The Optimist lives up to its name often, but there are some stories that are hard to read even with happy endings...c’est la vie.
We will just keep loving your blogs and laughting with you about all the antics of your kitties and doggies and horses and geese and whatever you have running around your house!

Mom and I only watch news for the bare minimum stuff going on in the world but that’s it. We are living in the moment – in our house – in our little town – hoping for the best because actually that’s all we can do at this point. My Mom says she’s ALMOST (!) glad she’s old because she probably won’t have to watch/listen for too many more years! LOL

Well, your mama is hardly old but I know what she means because I’m not sure any of us could’ve handled this had we’ve been about 20 or 30 years younger we’d probably be out in the streets rioting.!!

Oh, mama says that is exactly what she is feeling, But harken–a billionaire in New York is putting up the money at the Paris Climate Change convention to cover all fees for the USA necessary to stay n the group. There are 2700 billionaires in the USA and many of them will fight Trump’s unconstitionall antics.
I read headlines, and sometimes deeper if warranted, but mostly just to keep up with the overview and then I move on. No matter what the politicians do, I have to “carry water and chop wood.”
Yes, and those two actions will keep us sane, oui!

We do the same thing, stick our heads out of the doggy door to check the environment…then if we don’t like it was just ‘duck’ back inside!!
