Well, I was having this staring competition with mama, when out of the blue, mama started singing softly to me in a lyrical voice, whatever that is. (You, too, can sing along to Braham’s sweet tune…):
“Lullaby, and good night,
time for kitties to slumber,
and I just want to say,
you can rest on my duvet!
Close your eyes,
dream a little,
and I’ll wake you for kibble,
close your eyes, do not quibble,
and I’ll wake, ay, ake you for kibble.”
Mama, what are you warbling?
That’s kind of nice…what is it? Is it that old go-to-snooze tune?

Wake up with kibble!!! I’d go to sleep for that!!! Or anything – Mamma has found some “sticks” of meat that I LOVE!!! Maybe I’ll get Papa to sing – he gives me MORE!!! And those are GREAT photos!!!

If I sang to my cats, they would run out of the room. I have an awful singing voice. In college, the choir director told me to mouth the words. 🙂 XO
