Lock Step

Mama, what’s a little rain?  Okay, okay, I’ll get soaked, that’s true. Still…I could get a little raincoat, no? Maybe borrow Mya’s.

Well, mama finally got her bread-making video out there, now let’s see who actually does it! No one has reported yet but three people are having a bake-off on zoom tomorrow so I’ll get back to you.

Anthros here are out and about, some without masks, chatting in groups, it’s pretty weird since the rules are to have masks at all times and not to be close together.  It’s a step in the wrong direction, I think.

Maybe some people simply don’t believe it’s still very if-fy out there.

But we’re still “at home” and I saw that mama has laid in a stash of my food that’s pretty exciting, so I think we are here for a bit longer…maybe a month or so, or even more if things start looking not so good.

Someone sent mama a photo of a LOT of anthros on a beach in California, and frankly, we are all a bit worried for them.  Not much distancing at all  and no masks.  Maybe it’s hard to swim in a mask, haha.

But I’ve been checking my WhatsApp, and it turns out that lots of my kitty and doggy friends are sticking close to home, and glad to do it.  You just don’t know what’s out there yet..

Besides, who wants to go out in damp, rainy weather, I  ask you?

The garden is definitely in lockdown right now for me!

Maybe a raincoat and one of those hats with an umbrella on it, Loulou. 🙂

It’s also rainy in Cape Town today, Loulou. Lovely and cosy. Enjoy!

Oooooh – it was beautiful here yesterday!! And Loulou ) I would happily give you my raincoat – I hate it!! I try to hide when they bring it out – but getting wet is even worse. But they walk me – rain or shine. Yesterday friends came over and we took a long walk to the port – I rode in my poussette! Like Queen Victoria being pulled by an ane in her carriage on the Promenade des Anglais. Except I was pushed by Anne in a stroller. I guess not the same thing……

Oh LouLou we had a downpour this morning (while our huMom was out shopping ) and are under a thunderstorm watch now. At lest the temps are getting warmer.
We are still staying close to home too. Which is usual for us anyway.

The anthros are not the brightest here so our Mom and Dad will be mostly at home for a long time yet!
