This story made me all warm and fuzzy.
I’m sure by now everyone has seen the Penguin story about a magpie who changed lives. And now there will be a book about this sweet birdie who was taken in by a loving family who were suffering themselves from a tragedy.
Be prepared to weep a little. I did. I wish our magpies were like Penguin!

You see, Loulou? We in the animal kingdom are teaching lessons in life to humans. And what a wonderful world it would be if we just all mutually respected and loved and helped each other. All it takes is an open spirit. Our moms & pops know that – but a reminder like this beautiful story only helps reinforce and restore the goodness in us all. Well, some humans have to search a bit harder – and then there’s that nasty labrador that lives upstairs………….so hmmmmm, maybe I’m not perfect either. Have to work on that, teehee…………….bisous
