Well, I’m no stranger, but mama’s gettin’ ready to KISS me!

What if you kissed a complete stranger?  I’m always doing that because I don’t know half the anthros that wander through here and they’re always trying to smoochy-smoo me and so I just let them and don’t think anything of it.  The truth is, I like kissing and hope it never stops because then where would I be, I ask you?

So it was no surprise that a young woman’s enterprising film “First Kiss” was an internet sensation and got millions of hits on the first day!  As a clothes designer at Wren, her company, she thought that putting her designs on ten couples, complete strangers, who kissed on a video, might be good pr.  Well, it certainly was.  A major figure in fashion commented that he would never get that kind of exposure at a 15-minute runway show.

According to the NYT, some viewers were miffed that the very sweet video was really advertising, but personally, I think Ms. Pilieva, who made the film for $1300 (she says it was spent on location, video editing, chocolate and “some mints”, haha) was brillian to think up such a lovely way to touch people.

I hope people touch me more and more and more.  Maybe mama will bring in that tabby who wanders around outside looking mournful and I can perk up his purrs a little….
