(Mama is trying to get my attention about some little birdies or something…but I’M SNOOZING, MAMA!)

Well, this website may bring a smile to your lives right now.   I hope so. It is a well-known photographer of children and animals and mama thinks she does a pretty bang-up job of showing the love of kids for animals.

Personally, I think they are a little too perfect, although lovely, and are mainly photographs for precious keepsakes and to show the children when they are grown.  I happen to like photos that are a bit more casual and snapped when the subject wasn’t perfectly dressed or coifed, whatever that means.

Our aunty Lynne, up the street has sent us two wonderful photos of the baby house sparrows, rondonelles, just born last week.  Or étourneaux, which  are starlings, we are not sure yet just which they are!  I think mama forgot.  But they are CUTE, for sure, and fat little things.

These are this  year’s family.  Last year’s are the ones below warbling!

Look at those sparrows! We have sparrows that built a nest on our house. Unfortunately, a couple of the eggs in it fell out…or maybe some other bird or animal got to them…we found them smashed on our deck. We don’t know if there are any other eggs in the nest.

ooooooh – this is cuteness overload and we LOVE it!!!! All children should be taught to love animals and care for them – for life! And those birdies singing “Ode to Worms” are TOOO cute! They are little cuties!!! There are nests in the trees in front of our apartment – so soon there will be babies I imagine. Our dose of cuteness for the morning!!!! MERCI!

Thanks for sharing these photos of the sweet babies in our rafters. It’s nice to celebrate new life in a world that has changed so much in such a short time!!’
Thank goodness you haven’t changed, Loulou – i’m sure it’s because your mama and papa take such good care of you!!

Oh – they do not look like the starlings over here (which are known as European starlings – sort of like Spanish flu I suppose) They look like some kind of swallows, but we know birds have different names in Europe – or the same names for birds that are different. For instance, “tits” are a no-no when teaching about birds…if you get what I mean.
