Homeward Bound?

Well, my vacation is cut short. Darn.

Oh, boy, I think they finally got the picture.  A little birdie told me this morning (one of those weird turtledoves that mama insists on feeding 7-grain crackers!) that they may have to cut the trip short to do some admin at home, whatever admin is.

I think it means paperwork and details and numbers and since it’s almost April, it probably means that stuff the government wants every year to keep the roads in shape and the medical system healthy.

SO–it could be that I will have to clean up this joint and make sure everything is exactly back in its place so that mama doesn’t know about the wild party I threw with caterwauling by The Ferals, a hot rock group that just started up near our house.  I’m going to need help with the sheets, I think, but maybe if I just sort of ruffle things up and say I “played” there with my Kitty Whisperer, I can pull the wool over their eyes.  I mean the bedcovers.

I had better get cracking.  They just change their plans like that (!) and don’t give a thought to what I HAVE TO GO THROUGH.

AND THEN, THIS!  Okay, okay, she’s pretty cute but can’t they just STOP with the cutsy-pootsies.

Which of us would YOU like in YOUR bed, huh? Huh?

I wish to mention here a new and unique product from James Cramer, The Cat Solarium, which is an adaptable area that can be added to a window of an apartment or house, and in which your kitty can “be” outdoors and also protected by being inside the Cat Solarium.  I will have more to offer about this but if you wish to know more, please contact Mr. Cramer at the email below and get his photos and explanation of the invention.  He sent mama pictures of this amazing invention and it’s really something to think about if you have limited space for your kitty in condo or apartment living quarters.

Farewell to Trooper, who I think, deep down, may be another of my cousins.  Love to his family for their loss.

Wow now, even though we are indoor/outdoor cats we LOVE the idea of the Cat Solarium. Our senior boy Dusty would love to sunbathe in something so protected.

We look forward to your report!!!

Loulou dear, I’m sorry your humans gave you little notice that they were cutting your trip short. Maybe they need a talking to. I bet your party was amazing! Can I party with you sometime?! I would bring the nip & flowers for you sweet lady cat.

The solarium is just what I need, so I can soak up the sun & see birdies in the tree up close to house! Thanks for sharing!

Oooohoooooohoooooh – I want that little fuzzy white dude in MY bed!!!!! Maman is drooling too – but Papà says one spoiled brat (what does that mean?) is all we can handle. We saw your mama (Tata Susu) and papa (Tonton Don) 2 days ago and we were all so happy to see them and their friends. But Loulou, don’t be jealous, they miss you a LOT. But I made them smile with MY smiley-wiggle.

Sending hugs to Trooper’s family. He was beautiful and obviously much loved.

Those window attachments look like fun, but I bet they are expensive.

Bon Jour! Ellen, thank you for your feedback. Yes, this product is a luxury item just for cats, (and one iguana), but that is because the materials James uses are expensive and he makes them himself…like with his hands. He builds each Solarium to last. The very first Cat Solarium ever made by James is in our window, being used every day by 3 very mean and HUGELY demanding cats. It is over 20 years old, (remind me to paint Solarium). If you paint it every 3 or 4 years, it will last a lifetime. How about a discount? 10% off whatever package you decide on and free shipping in the US? Just email me or James @ contact@catsolrium.com. We will make suggestions to what accessories you need basing off where you live. XOXO Melissa

So they’re suddenly coming home and making you clean up your own mess? Such abuse! 🙂

Love those window things for the cats. Wish we could have something like that but not possible when you rent. Oh, well,

Jan, The Cat Solarium is easily removable. It goes into a window like a window a/c. It doesn’t have to be a permanent fixture. If you move, you just open the window and out it goes. We have an 18 pound Maine Coon that is in his Solarium all the live long day.

I LOVE that cat window!! Unfortunately, I have the type of condo that can’t use that. Our windows slide, they don’t go up and down 🙁
