I know it’s Sunday. I know I am preaching to the choir, as mama says, but we all have to speak out against this very real danger to our democracy and life as we know it in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Which are becoming more and more the DIVIDED STATES OF AMERICA. And believe me, divided we fall.

Miss Loulou, my dad was an avid golfer in his younger years. He attended many tournaments and met many pro-golfers, including Arnold Palmer. He told me that Mr. Palmer was always a gentleman and treated his fans with respect.
Now I have to wonder if that Former President, whose name I will not give power to by mentioning, was ever fit for office.
Good manners, politeness, and respect go a long way.

People have changed. They always used to discuss and debate and do so fiercely but not tirades filled with abuse and attempts to discredit their opponents.
The skill of a debate was to put your case better than your opponents to persuade them with skill.

Yes, it is a terrible thing. And the father of a good friend of mama and papa was best friends with Mr Palmer and they played golf together for years. Mr Palmer was a lovely, thoughtful, talented human being. Trump should be in prison (treason?) where he cannot speak out like this.
We have frequently expressed the opinion that neither party has fielded a worthy candidate.
We have further expressed the opinion that it’s time for Feline Wisdom to occupy the White House. We could name at least a dozen kitties of Our Acquaintance who are more worthy by far than those Humans now running for office.
Well, we do differ on that one, but yes, kitties should be up there keepng the peace and certainly being more human than the orange menace!
So very true. Your humans are better where they are, but we appreciate the fallout from the painful and shameful antics in the US by some parties will roll out across the globe and affect, if not fuel more wars if left unchecked.
