Ground Beef

(I’m washin’ up for this dirt dinner!)

Well, mama took me aside a few minutes ago and said, “Loulou, tonight you’re going to have a rare treat (so to speak) – a little taste of papa’s hamburger and it’s made with fresh ground beef.”

GROUND BEEF?  Does that mean mama makes it out of that stuff where I roll? Sort of like mud pies but different?  And why would anyone make meat out of dirt?

Anthros are weird.

Maybe dirt tastes really good, what do I know?  But it’s beginning to dawn on me that maybe anthro burgers are NOT made from the ground up, haha.

I’m still washing’, mama…

Maybe just get the back of my neck spruced up a bit….

LouLou Dad gives us Ground Beef sometimes and the cat who eats it is Toby. He LOVES Ground Beef and will snag some off the pile if Dad leaves it out as he is cooking. Toby likes it raw or cooked. I prefer a little Spam as does Miss Fitz. Rumpy likes fish and so does Buddy Budd. Einstein is finicky and only likes treats. What do you like best? Chick-Hen?

Ground beef!? What a treat and I’m soooo jealous! “They” have started giving me little pieces of apple in the evening though and I LOVE that! Thursday I get my fall “coiffure” and mma says she will get me a tin of REAL dog food – the kind that’s not baked into pellets. That makes getting the coiffure worth it. Did you do anything special to merit hamburger? Tell me your secret!!!

Lou Lou,

You are absolutely high Larry Us- (hilarious). Cats do not eat dirt, they eat things like sardines and you live in the world capital of sardines, a sort of sardine Mecca. And you live only 2 short blocks from the seaside. If you took a break from your self-grooming and naps in sun puddles and trotted to the end of your street, you will have made a pilgrimage like no other cat has ever experienced. Fish every where. You can also watch the men of your village play Bocce Ball.

Lou Lou, just wait until you turn 50. I have spent my day googling articles on why is my hair falling out in clumps, calling my doctor’s office, and wondering what caused the new pain in my back. I wish freaky Friday was a real thing. I would love to be you for a day and let your momma spoil me rotten. I would bring her a dead lizard for all the love she had shown me. You daddy, well, he might want to give me any pets but that is a long story.

How is your daddy? All I hear is that he is getting better? Are you helping out around the house and assisting your mum?

Well, I’m sure that reading this has made you sleepy again. I know my mussings always puts your mum alseep. Sleep well. Im off to invade someone else’s life.

Your loving step cousin twice removed,
Melissa
