Okay, okay, I’ll get to my…uh…watering after I roll around a little on this warm stepping stone…
This is my fill-in:
1. My March to-do list incudes __pee…uh…watering mama’s just-starting-to-leaf-out roses and ___mama’s list is too long to fit here, haha. I think one of her to-do thingies is to repeat often the mantra “Just here, just now, just this.” Keeps her sane, (And those around her, haha)

2. I used to ___think my beloved country was invincible and powerful and helped those who were needy and had to turn to stronger allies to survive and welcomed hopeful immigrants who did not want to live in fear in their own countries, but not anymore.
3. __Okra is a (pretty often) obscure __food that I really enjoy.
4. I’m most productive ___after a nice little morning coffee! (And when the weather is WARMER!)

Life is different – not better, just different – and we hope to spend our old age in some form of security which is a little hard to imagine sometimes (these days anyway!). We stay positive, try to have hope and happy thoughts and that’s about all we can do. In the meantime – we have to tell you that photo of darling Loulou on the stepping stone has always been a favorite – she looks like a little sun-worshipper!!!

Oh, merci, Teddy’s mama, and we, too, are in a …yes…different state of mind right now but we keep our courage up and know that the mighty do fall…OR…a strange thought, perhaps all is for the best and we will clean up our dusty politics and make it work better the next time. A wakeup call for sure.
We love okra and tomatoes and okra in the gumbo. Have you ever had the crispy dried okra?
After coffee is the only way anything gets done.
ABSOLUTELY…oui on the coffee thingy and yes mama does fried okra all crispy and nice after it is shaken in corn meal. Wish we could find it here!
