HEY, not those guys again!
Well, sort of. MY friends, I’m not sure. Maybe I should have said, two-nostril friends, haha.
Mama is smitten again with those donks and Pompinette, the mule, who have been out of our village for a few months. I hope that THEY weren’t isolated but if they were, I’d wish for them that it was in a large green pasture!
They are even coming by our HOUSE on some days!
Say, donks, why don’t you just really make it a day and come in for dinner, haha? Mama can make some oat cookies to go with those artichoke leaves she has been saving for you all for about a year…ech! Maybe a little carrot purée?
Hey, looks as if someone has pinned tail on all of them, haha.

My mom says she had a ‘Pin the Tail on the Donkey’ game when she was younger (that was a REALLY long long time ago). Hmm . . . I wonder if donkeys were really around that far back. I bet they were really dinosaurs instead. Tee hee hee.
Uh, oh, with that comment you had better hide! But mama understands perfectly…uh, oh, she’s comin’ after ME.

Okay, okay, I give in. They are sweet animals, but where does this leave ME? Sigh…I never learned to hee haw.

WOW, Loulou – WE JUST got back frm Italy – and I am SOOOO glad to be home!! BUT we did have fun!!! I slept in the car all the way there – and back. SO glad it was only 4 hours! Mamma got into another show!!! WHEW – that made it worthwhile!!!!

My Mom thinks donks are adorable….go figure….she says I’m adorable too so I’m not exactly sure what her definition of “adorable” is! Anyway, I’m sure they enjoy having a walk through the village visiting friends like YOU Loulou!!
