Well, here is our positive story for today. A wonderful story of kindness and helpfulness and savvy at the refuse center! And this story has a nice ring to it, haha.
Mama was on pins and needles as she read this one, but so often, human beings are kind and empathetic and jump right in to help someone in trouble.
And mama often puts her ring somewhere in the kitchen when she makes bread and then forgets where it is.
Long ago, she once baked a ring INTO a loaf of bread! Never found that one as the loaves were distributed all over the place and no one reported breaking a tooth, haha. Still…someone was happy with a new ring, really in the dough….
Someone found a surprise in that loaf of bread! Maybe you’ll find something good in your food dish, Loulou.

I bet a whole lot of wonderful surprises are in the trash! Not mine of course but everyone else’s. Isn’t it at Mardi Gras that rings or other small gifts are purposely baked into cakes? Doesn’t sound like your Mama MEANT to put a ring in HER loaf of bread though. You look comfy having your food while resting by the bowl.

Aren’t there Christmas traditions where the idea is to find the prize baked into something ? Maybe that tradition got started accidently by someone like Mama ?
There have been some sweet stories of puppies and kittens being rescued from recycling or garbage trucks by alert workers there too !
