Feral Fixing

Nov 25, 2023 | 22 comments

I, too, experienced the feral state for a little while. But I was oh, so lucky and look at me now! Adopt ferals whenever possible…we might surprise you.

Well, that word (fix) is not a favorite around here but once the event is over, our feral kitties will be very happy indeed.

As was I.

The mairie has sent out a notice that our village ferals will be sterilized and put back, when they have recovered, into their outdoor places in our little village.

Some have a little house and food is always left for them by various people.

This little sweetie in the photo is probably a distant relative of mine, I hope. I like having some of my family around the town, just in case I’m ever out there by accident! I’m sure they would take me home to mama right away.

Don’t leave us out in the cold….

Awww, he’s adorable. Four paws up to anyone who helps these precious, misunderstood kitties.

An interesting side note. My father’s first name was Ferol. An unusual name – apparently was a “family” name. Also we think Teddy was a feral before someone caught him and brought him to the shelter where WE were lucky enough to find him!!

Hugs, Pam

Or is that snow?? Eek…we are supposed to get that here on Sunday…not fun for driving…and everyone will be coming beck from their Thanksgiving holiday trips. We pray for safety on the roads and no drunk or stupid or careless drivers.

That is very good news that all the ferals will be sterilised. It will give them a much better life.
