HEY, WHERE DID THE DAY GO?
Well, countdown in the sense that when the longest day of the year happens, papa starts counting down to the SHORTEST day of the year so that we can, yet again, immediately start to have longer ones after that.
Don’t ask.
That’s just what goes on around here. So I am making him a little calendar on which he can cross off the days until December, and that should give him a smile each morning as he draws closer and closer to longer days. Maybe I’ll get him little stick-on Xes.
Meanwhile, I am pretty lucky because all days are the same to me except for when somehow it seems darker than lighter, but then I snooze and it’s lighter, then somehow it’s darker again. Go figure!
Life is less complicated for kitties, I think.

Well, there is time, I think, a few months at least but what do we kitties know about time, haha?
We just had the longest day of the year. I like it too. Good weather and lots of outside time.

Me too, Loulou – Dark – sleep, Light – eat and play. See how logical doggies and kitties are? Mama bought me some paté and WOW! BUT they cancelled my appointment at Animal Paradise because the peeps said they didn’t get Papa’s call to start a half hour early – and the next appointment was in late July. SO, I will go to Bull and Bills next week. Mama needs to o to Davide, but I don’t dare tell her……
Well my mama turned herself into a blond-streaked rodeo queen so maybe a change of character is inn store. Your mama is so gorgeous doing NOTHING to her hair. Hey, maybe the Bull and Bills will “do” her.

It is about 75 F and 25 C around here. Nice and sunny and warm when out of the wind. But the winds are often 100 kph.
