This is my Rat Impersonation because I SMELL A RAT!

Well, you may be wondering why my blog is so late, not to say, non-existent yesterday, and I just want to say that 1. WordPress went out and fortunately restored my blog that I had already written and was ready to publish but…and 2. Mama has been helping me write by aiding and abetting, sitting on a garden chair made of white plastic for about four years now and just today, she and papa went out to get her a REAL, honest to goodness office chair (read: abandon ME), which you will now feast your eyes upon below:

Office Chair…duh

Hey, no great shakes, right, but let me tell you that garden furniture can do funny things to your back, neck, you name it, and I said to mama, “Mama, you have to have a chair to help me or it just doesn’t come out right when we work together and you’re always scootin’ around and trying to get comfortable and frankly, it’s a disruption to my train of thought.”

So off they went on their way to get their eyes looked at (get that–eyes LOOKED AT, haha) and their teeth cleaned and they left me for a good six hours without even saying where they were going and I really should be a bit miffed at that, but instead, I ENJOYED IT, you two!!!

And this is what I did with my FREE TIME WITH NO EMCUMBRANCES OF CUDDLES AND INTERRUPTIONS OF SLEEP!

and don’t forget THIS:

And I ended up like this:

But that’s when I heard them come in from wherever they were with that NEW CHAIR and I forgave them their sudden abandonment of me and all of my needs and necessities.

Plus mama is REALLY happy that now she can help me with my writing without making creaking noises when she tries to stand up.

And just in case you are wondering why mama is drinking three huge 2-liter bottles of what looks like hooch, or moonshine (whatever that is) and has finished two and is heading toward the third, that’s FISH EMULSION FOR THE PLANTS!!! And trust me, when that lid comes off the bottle, you don’t want to be around…
