A beautiful face by an unknown artist in the Cefalu museum.
Well, that was dumb, Cefalu-lou, but it is a nice name, pronounced Cheff-a-lou and so what the heck? Mama sent these pics to me to put in my blog today–a lovely town that from the sea, looks like a giant snail. Unfortunately I do not have a pic from the sea because I am not ON the sea (thank heaven) but only conveying info from mamma.
Below, a narrow street with original Roman tiles; a view of the tourist-packed beach (they did NOT go to the beach); sorbetti in lovely colored glasses; the Roman church that presides over the town on a hill.
And below, a twinkling face by a very well-known artist, Antonella de Messina, which also hangs in the little museum. Unfortunately, there is only one of his brilliant paintings.
And of course, there WOULD be a ‘darling little doggy’ and mamma WOULD take her picture and ooh and aah over the mutt.
And of course, there WOULD be MORE pics of kitties and doggies that mamma thought were ‘cute’ (hah!), but you’re not seeing them HERE, no way, Jose.

Hmmm, we don’t know anything about a cell phone but we’re guessing your mom takes these pictures lying on her side so she can relax while she’s taking pix? She must really be enjoying her vacation. 🙂
Oh, it was a screw up with her new App for transferring pics from one item to another but she fixed them yesterday, I think. Great idea, you guys. TAKE PICS LYING DOWN.
