Well, it’s a BIG day today!!! It’s papa’s birthday and mama made a moelleux au chocolat that made me a little crazy when it was baking but I did manage to lick a crumb off the floor (using Mya’s technique, the Hoover) when everyone was looking the other way, haha.
Don’t worry, it was TINY, and I mean tiny.
Ah, well.
Papa had a sweet lunch with two very old friends and mama and me and that was it.
No fanfare for papa, as he likes things a bit low-key when it comes to birthdays. Β Mama is even worse, haha.
But a good time was had by all, as they say, and I could FINALLY get my nap when it was over.
We had salmon canapΓ©s and guacamole and then a roast duck from our open market and mama’s pepper jelly Β and mama’s purΓ©e of potatoes and carrots and then the chocolate thingy and papa said he would never eat again, haha.
(We’ll see about that later on…it’sΒ pizza night.)
For my birthday I hope mama bakes a moelleux au THON with nip icing…(maybe not tuna, maybe better with sardine).
I gave papa some socks that I couldn’t resist. Β Are they cool or what!
And then I gave him a big kiss.

Awwww – that sounds like a PERFECT birthday!!!! That headline got my attention since I thought it said BONE – but Wow – a moelleux de thon sounds FABU! And Papa’s making a pain de poisson with tuna and crab today – and maybe some shrimp! I’ll be ready in case he drops some crumbs!! Aren’t we lucky our humans are such klutzes!!?? I think I’ll give my papa a kiss on the head. That looked so sweet.
