Guess what?

Well, mama’s cousin, who is a Texas Vaquero (men who ride together and have great outings on their horses and schmooze and make things happen in the world), sent this lovely video that made us both very teary.  Beautiful voices and such sweet photos.  And how kind of those two singers to make such a touching video for homeless animals.

Thank you to mama’s cousin.  I personally have never been on a horse and probably will not get the chance, but I think that’s okay with me.  Putting a kitty on a horse might be like putting a FISH on a horse!  Koi Rogers, haha. Or Pawhide…ouch!  Maybe Tuxie Trotters?  Okay, that’s over. Whew!

But seriously, folks, today is Pi day, celebrating Einstein’s gift to the world, and I know this thanks to Cody at Cat Chat, so maybe we should think of adopting lonely animals as something like Pi, the endless decimals .

So let us hope that adoptions of our sweet friends in the animal kingdom will go on and on and on and on and on and…you get the picture.

Well, I’m stretching out to reach the end of Pi, but somehow I think this is definitely not going to work…

Thank you, Mr. Einstein, for your contribution to our amazing world.

And our condolences to the family of Stephen Hawking whose brilliance made our world shine brighter.

Thanks to Cousin Tex (mama still gigglin over Pawhide) – that was beautiful and SOOO to the point. And we know better than anybody, huh, Loulou – what a dfference a Forever Family makes – in our lives and in the love given back to those who adopt us. We know when we have a good thing and are Forever Grateful. Well, except for the hair-do thing.

And Mr. Hawking’s no longer being around to share his brilliance and inspiration will be missed. Thank goodness his writings will live on.
