Don’t I look a little…er…furrier?
Tell me, do all of us kitties get a bit…er…puffier in winter? Am I building up a little protection against the cold winds and rain? Because I seem to have put on, not weight, but FUR!
In fact, I’m kind of sorry for you anthros who don’t have any and have to put on underthingies and sweaters and coats and jackets and scarves and hats and gloves and all that paraphernalia, whatever that is.
Isn’t there some way to grow a nice coat of whatever color you like each winter and then shed it in spring, as we do? Mama is taking some vitamins for her hair and it actually seems to be working, but I keep hoping her hair will grow down her neck and over her body and give her a nice Tuxedo coat for winter. Well, in her case, maybe Tabby.
Mama is hoping she will turn out like this. And maybe even know how to do yoga, too! In her dreams…
Recently I saw some faux furs in a magazine that were pretty nifty and I couldn’t tell the difference, except one was hot pink so I sort of understood that there are not many pink furry animals, so maybe anthros just have to put up with their naked skins and cover them with faux fashion furs.
So sad, but then again, in very hot summers, I really wish I had a zipper.

Vraiment is just fine. What a melancholy day for so many of us and there were riots all over the USA after the election. Let’s just hope he is not as ignorant as he appears to be. Perhaps there is someone in there who will get something done but I have my doubts.
I had not heard of riots , though there were protests.
At least both of the candidates and Pres. Obama were gracious and conciliatory in their comments. Sometimes “just” putting on the correct appearance is half the battle , or at least a step in the right direction. We are all praying.
That’s a good point, as in when you make yourself smile when you are unhappy, your body sort of goes along with it. Let’s hope this works out differently from what we all fear….

Well, my fur gets cleaned daily, so that’s maybe why it maintains its health, haha.
Fur with a zipper sounds great for mid-summer. We do that full belly exposure as well. Loulou, Have you ever seen the dogs that people die all kinds of crazy colors? Maybe that’s where designers get the idea for those wildly colored faux furs. Mom and Dad voted this morning. Lily Olivia let everyone know on our blog, Twitter and Instagram that they needed to vote. Voting precincts have been super crowded…hope that works to send the orange-haired buffoon packing. Good for you, kitties, but this is a very sad day for what used to be The United States of Freedom.
Mom is so sad and heart-broken that she lives in country where people are so ignorant and did not use the good sense God gave them when they went to the polls. Being a disabled person, it breaks her heart that a man who can have such little respect for women, the disabled and just about every other person on earth could become the leader of our country. Well, I think we will have an advocate in Bernie Sanders, who will fight with all his might the prejudices and shortcomings of the new President. He will not stand for a roll back on Roe vs Wade. America was founded on freedom of speech, religion, and human rights and Trump has trumped all. There will be rioting in the streets if he tries to invade our private bodies and lives with his ideas on how we should or should not live. We are PRIVATE free people and no government should mess with our personal lives.

We feel sorry for those who can’t grow fur too. Even with our fur we get cold!
YES, we do, which is why I sleep between two warm legs. But I still go out and run around in this weather. I must be nuts.

OH, brother. She is absolutely not the tux type, although she bought something similar once and it’s hanging in the closet. I think that was, hmmmm, 10 years ago. Maybe we could glue some fur onto it.
Oh LouLou!!!! We luv dat last foto. We luv da furst one too, but da last one is just purrecious. Ya’ know our humans do grow some fur, but da woment are always tryin’ to get rid of it. We see all kinds of razors, shavers, lasers and what have ya’ dat get rid of their fur either over night or furever. Seems da men humans do da same with their face fur. We don’t really notice gettin’ floofier, we kinda stay floofy all da time, so we fur sure unnerstand dat wantin’ a zipper. We could use one of those in da summer too. Big hugs fur all.
