DON’T ANSWER THAT PHONE. I’M BUSY HAVING FUN WITHOUT YOU GUYS!
Well, mama called me yesterday and I answered anyway, and she sounded a little…off.
She said, “Loulou, I don’t know what time it is and I’ve been in three time zones and I think I’m supposed to eat lunch now, but I think it’s past my dinnertime and I should be going to sleep. Then when I go to sleep, I think it’s time to wake up and I look at the clock and it’s three in the MORNING!”
No wonder she sounds weird. You know, moving around on the earth from this zone to that zone and then back again before you can even get used to the new one is a bit hard on the equilibrium, I think. Whatever that is.
But I know things will straighten themselves out just as soon as THEY realize that if they just stayed permanently around me and didn’t go anywhere, they wouldn’t have these problems, right?
As it is, they are sending me photos of “sweet little kitties” they found along the way and one pretty strange doggie that mama says she saw in someone’s shopping cart! Don’t they have anything else to do on this business trip, I ask you? They are ALWAYS finding “cute” little kitties and doggies that don’t have anything to do with their lives–complete strangers–and I’m supposed to LIKE THAT?

A black and white kitty? Gimme a break.
Even a Chihuahua? Oh, boy…
I’m taking a snooze. It’s either that or go ballistic.
I can’t seem to get to sleep. Maybe I have pet lag…

Well, I hope it’s fixed now because they were ALL posted one after the other and there were several readers who said they were not getting their emailed Loulou. Weird, but thanks for telling me.
I am sure your Mama misses you and is using these other animals as a substitute until she gets back to you.
