Well, mama and especially papa need a rest after that long drive…3 days of freeway but yes, a couple of pit stops in nice place. Still, sitting for hours in a car is not mama’s idea of excitement…mama reads nws of the world to the driver and can’t wait to say ‘Lunch break’!
Rome is lovely and sunny and today is the family lunch together after many months and there will be visitors a couple of tiimes, the mother of one who has never seen this lovely city. And there are places mama and papa have never been, too, even after having lived in Rome–little hidden places that, thanks to Instagram, they might even try to find! A mural from the 1200s at a convent a secret garden on one of Rome’s hills, and more…mama will try to take pics of these jewels so that we can travel together.
