Well, our friends visiting from Satt Spring Island made an amazing dinner last night and oh, boy, I wish I had been there for the salmon with chili crisp and little sautéed new potatoes and perfect zucchini bites and a little first course salad of chick peas and wild arugula and tiny raisins and a lemon, garlic, olive oil dressing that mama swooned over….
They kindly kitty-sat me once for two weeks and oh boy, was I one happy camper! Longtime friends that are really more like family (than some of the real ones) are as precious as…well…we kitties! How lucky we are to have them come such a long way to say hello, but next week they are headed for gay Paree and more adventures…sigh. I will be sure to follow their journey and keep them safe.😻 I think there might be some salmon in Paris..non?
And I’m pretty sure that today mama and papa are sticking with cottage cheese and fruit!, haha. (
(I actually had a bite of that baked salmon when they weren’t looking…It’s under that cilantro leaf…)
