Donc, yet again the internet was WEIRD, so we had to splice yesterday and today but what the heck.
Our spark is/was:

Mama is going to put in some photos of things she loves in Roma and this is a big one–the ‘fountains’ of Rome wher you put your finger over a little hole and the water, clean and clear from the mountains, becomes a little drinking water-arch fountain.
Papa says it looks like, well, we won’t say what he joked about and how it looked to him…
The water is ice cold and delicious.
Papa’s second cataract is going to be fixed this afternoon.
We don’t like the word “fixed”, mama!
Okay, okay, repaired….and tomorrow is papa’s birthday so it’s a nice present!
And this sweet man(in front of the Pantheon) is one of many eccentric and interesting bicyclers in Rome. We even saw Cosimo, the cat, from Instagram, one day in front of our apartment building, on the shoulder of his papa on a bicycle!

Best wishes for a full healing of the Dad’s eye, and may the surgeon’s hands be guided from above. Here us two have the beginnings of those cataracts, too, but we are told ‘they are not ready yet’…

Well, when they are ready, do it THEN. We waited too long for mama’s and papa’s and it was more difficult for him at this age. But when they are reday, GO!!! So easy. So magical.

Yep – we know what your Papa was thinking about that fountain and he’s RIGHT! Tee Hee Hope his surgery goes well – cataracts are a bother and now he will have SUPER EYES.
