Mama is worried that somehow, being isolated for almost one whole year now, she is falling for her head-captivity-honcho, ie, isolation during COVID-19!
Even if I know better, that mama really is a social creature and loves dancing on tables, I do see that her special moments are pretty much with me (and papa, of course) and I am certainly NOT a Stockholm Syndrome bad guy…er…gal.
As, for example, those unfortunate anthros who actually fall for their captors and can’t see the reasoning behind being freed by commandos, for example!
I think that may be mama right now…
I hope not.
But, wait a minute. If mama and papa break out of here with vaccinated selves, etc. they are still going to have to worry about those NOT vaccinated, right?
So they’ll be at home a bit longer, I think, sin-droming with ME, haha.

My humans are signed up to get their 2nd dose next month, but they plan to continue to wear face masks and avoid going to public spaces as much as possible even long after that to be safe.
Mine, too. The vaccine is only the beginning of ridding the world of this BADDY.

Oh, for sure, Ernie. Because there will be many whom you do not know are in your presence who had not vaccinated not masked nor believed in the vaccines. But we’re primed for isolation, that’s for sure! And we have YOU and our lovely blogging friends to keep us company.
I thought it was sad that my Mom and Dad were captive (not me though – I’m always FREE as a bird – – – I mean CAT). They have adjusted though and the three of us are fine doing our own thing. I have loved being their only “entertainment” during this time of staying home and while I’m sure I’ve gained weight from the extra treats (don’t tell anyone I said that), I feel lucky to enjoy extra time with my old folks. They are “keepers” !!

HEY, PALEFACE…WHAT IS THIS “OLD” stuff??? You should be re-thinking that one before I tattle on you. They are NOT old. Old is when you lose all spirit and laughs and stop doing silly, dumb things. We use the word “dumb” around here to mean HEY, that was FUNNY!

Well, we’re all captive here and actually, it’s not so bad. Just long…..
WOW Loulou – my peeps get out at least times a day – or I will pee on the floor, LOL!! But we don’t go anywhere else – nothing to do since everything is closed! They say Italy is open for lunch – BUT – ? Just not doing that….. and I haven’t gotten to wear my Dog Star tiger-print harness and leash! BUT we will go and see Marie-Claude’s new apartment – and I will wear it!
It’s not that we don’t go OUT. I have a garden. Mama and papa walk. But we’re still IN and we’re not going out at all unless we know exactly where the people we might see have been but you don’t know who has what.
SO TRUE!And we don’t see that many – but now that Mamma has her vaccine, she’s a bit more relaxed!!!
Doesn’t work for 2-3 weeks on the first shot. Then you have to wait 2-3 weeks for the second one to kick in. Then you don’t know who has what!
They still do need to be mighty careful Loulou, it’s still scary out there!
Oh, we are careful, that’s for sure. And it’s COLD so a bit easier to stay by the fire.
If you get antsy LouLou, just remember all those distressing road trips you are missing !
