Monday Madness

Well, not really madness, but so much going on that I just turned my back on everyone and chowed down.

Mama had to write an article and papa was splitting wood with his new log-splitter, which sounds like small bombs going off, and then there was a delivery and then my aunty Lynne came to pick up something and leave something nice and mama was happy to have a live human from the neighborhood to talk with and then more squishy ripe fruit fell onto  the terrace and had to be dealt with and mama already  has 15 small jars of arbouse jam and no room for more and then the washing had to spin and then mama’s sisinlaw called and they laughed a lot and by then it was time to start dinner and it was just too much for me to handle.

Besides, I think I forgot something in my bowl. T

That needed serious attention!

I think I’d be taking a long nap after all that activity. In fact, I know I would. Winks.

That bowl will be so clean, your mama won’t have to wash it, Loulou.

Gosh – talk about busy! I would have definitely just kept on eating to get through a day like that. Let the humans keep up the flurry of activity while we just bunch and nap. Right Loulou?

Hugs, Teddy

Wow, Loulou that sounds like a busy, but fun Monday. I hope that Tuesday is just as good.

Loulou – I NEVER forget anything in my bowl! That must be the doggie in me….. Yesterday Papa made a DELICIOUS (well, I heard it was) honey and spice coated maigret de canard strips! And Mamma thawed out some Italian potatoes with olives, garlic – etc. I didn’t get any of that either – but we walked and walked! And the weather was beautiful, so that made up for it!

Ah Loulou ! As I’m sure Mama remember the saying from the ’60’s : “Tune in – turn on – drop out.” Kitties can do that and may not even need a hit of nip !
