On a happier note, for a perfect poached egg: Fill a small glass dish halfway up with water. Break the egg into it. Microwave it at 900 for exactly 45-50 seconds. And voila!

Oh, oui, mama wishes almost every day that she could tousle my coiffure and snuggle me close….but we had such a long good time together.

Even so, that works well, too but only bring water to simmer, drop in eggs, TURN OFF THE FIRE, and cover for 4-5 minutes. Perfect poachers! Learned this from a great chef. Strain out what little white is left and put it with the perfect egg.

I loved them, too, but not as much as mama….she adores them any way they are offered, except RAW, haha.
I’d never thought of breaking the egg into water and microwaving.

Oui, they do, and now that very intelligent gray kitty who lives up the street is coming around to mama’s window in her office and looking very attentive to mama. We shall have to write about Rasta…such a darling.
