Well, actiually, not much is happening around here, except lots of peeps are showing up in our little village for tomorrow night and the fireworks and the street vendors and food everywhere, and we could report on that but mama and papa really want to stay in, warm and cozy by the fire and welcome the new year quietly.
Fine with me. Those fireworks were the PITS long ago and I’m not about to get along happily with them now! My cloud is peaceful and quiet, thank heaven, haha.
Do have a safe and enjoyable evening tomorrow…get out the bubbly or whatever it is that makes you happy. And mama read about a fun game to play at a party or with a group of friends at dinner or wherever. The question is this:
If you could only have one liquid to drink, or one vegetable or fruit or dessert or TV show or whatever for the rest of your life, what would it be. Mama jumped right in on that veggie question. ARTICHOKES, absolutely, artichokes, forever and ever, haha.
Have some fun with this. Mama just realized that if she could have only only kind of social interaction online, it probably would be blogging! I think she would have to get all our friends to start blogging, too, because we would be giving up gmails! OMC!
Just don’t ask about having just one friend…..no way, Jose.

We stay in for the New Year and I try to get some sleep as I have work in the morning.
There’s no way I could stick to only one veggie or one fruit, I’d be cheating left, right and center!

Well WE THREE are staying home, staying in, and not participating in loud festivities tonight – we will HEAR the fireworks around us and probably watch them on TV though. Mom and Dad are making a steak dinner and having a bottle (probably the entire thing) of Prosecco and I will be snoring under the Christmas tree probably. We are hoping and praying for a HAPPY new year – a “righting of wrongs”, a reckoning of injustices, and some BIG changes. It’s time. We send you HOPE as our “gift for the new year” because without hope, we are all just treading water!
