Well, I’m tolerating this heat wave, but barely…Even my cloud has warmed up a bit too much!

A little history lesson on Sunday…things mama never noodle now…about those in our government’s pocket who feel women should not have the vote!!!
Happy and cool Sunday, everyone. We are sweltering and poor Rasta is sacked out on the cool patio under a table after his supper. Mama tried to put a cool water bottle next to him, but it made him too nervous.
But mama’s stepgranddaughter has won him over and we think he actually spent the night here in the garden! And then he stayed all day long lying on the patio under the table in this very very hot weather, but he finally went home and mama and papa are still in a quandary, wondering what to do about this sweet kitty, especially when he comes to the kitchen door and sits there and just looks at them.Lordy Lordy….

Am I regal or what, says you know who….?

What beautiful photos, Loulou. That Regal Rasta is definitely being charmed – too sweet. Hooray for women and all that they achieve against all odds. I hope the heat wave waves goodbye soon.
Oui, waving goodbye, that’s a great way to put it!
Thank you, Lucretia! Going back to aprons and churning butter, not! AND: the step-grand-girl and kitty, so lovely.
Haha, Lucretia. PERFECT. Barefoot and preggies…is he out of his mind??? YES. And evidently T is losing his, too. Let’s hope it’s quick.
That is a beautiful picture and frame worthy! Rasta looks very regal sitting on his new princess’s lap!
Oh, merci, Meezer’s Mews, he is a regal kitty, so self-contained and so sweet to everyone. A little skittley at sudden movements, which makes mama wonder if someone was not nice to him long ago, but that’s getting less frequent as his trust builds.
Oh my, Rasta does look quite self assured there!
He’s so independent and so loved for that, too.
Great photo! I think your Mama and Papa are doing a great job of being “supplemental carers” for Rasta. He obviously enjoys your company and your garden, etc. but maybe still has other places he likes to visit too! Bless you for being one of the “carers” in his life!!
Hugs, Pam
Well, it’s easy peasy for mama and papa to fall for this kitty and they do hope he has lots of other admirers who snuggle him and feed him. He seems to be starving for affection….maybe others aren’t so demonstrative but mama brushed him yesterday and he went into nirvana….
I’d bring him in and tell the neighbors, if they ask, ain’t seen no cat!

HA HA no wonder we come to you for advice!!!
Great shot. Such a beautiful girl. XO
Merci Ms E. We kittyies make such good subjects. LOVED worn-out Rosie today.
They are both regal.
When he comes, love him, pet him, feed him, and let him choose. Probably, someday, he won’t go back.
But mama and papa travel and they can’t have him in the house anyway because he loves the outdoors. Maybe a tent in the garden?
“Things Mama never noodle now…”we love that expression !
Rasta seems to know a good thing when he has it.
Mama is a sucker for puns and wordplay…it could go on forever…sigh…
What a beautiful photo and gorgeous step-granddaughter. We definitely hope to see more of and learn more about Rasta. Please thank him for hopping with us. Try to stay cool! Oh, Rasta generates stories, that’s for sure. Right now he is peering in the kitchen door at mama…always a dangerous thing to do as she wants to snuggle him each time and he KNOWS it.
