Wow, it dried up so fast!
Huge storm yesterday for about 2 hours and now a sunny Sunday as if nothing had happened. So strange, but so nice to have s sweet market day as we do on Sundays. The summer fruits and vegetables are spectacular and mama’s thirsty garden had a nice big drink!
And everything smells so good.
I got a bit damp but it was rather nice in this heat to have a little shower….and now a Sumday snooze.
Mama wishes their bed felt like my cloud….

No FEMA for aid to Texas floods.

We had storms this weekend too, Loulou. But it didn’t cool things off and made everything more sticky. Guess that’s what summer is all about.
Yes sticky summer is a good way to put it.
Awwww, Loulou look at your pink tongue. So sweet. Enjoy the rains and the snooze.
Merci, Ms Militza, the rain was great and now the after-smooze, if a bit damp….
We have a pattern of HOT HOT followed by afternoon rain and it just makes things feel like a HUGE steam bath. It’s our “typical” summer…..sigh.
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Wow, it sounds like Cuba or island weather somewhere but mama remembers the same steamy weather in Houston…and way too cold air conditioning.
We have that sometimes. Warm weather, things get dry, and then RAIN! Rain is so important for gardens!
Well, mama’s garden is very happy.
We got our rain on Sunday, and a nice dousing it was.
In our house, an afternoon nap on Sunday is called “attending the service at Bedside Baptist.”
LOVE that, so funny and wonderful.
There sure has been way too many storms!

And probably more to come but everythig is growing like Topsy.
Glad the storm cooled things a bit -so often here it just adds to the humidity/ Purrs.
Mama has to make a list of where everyone lives….
Adorable photos of you LouLou. I am glad it is a nice day for the market. XO
LOVELY DAY, also for the garden clean-up.
Oh, LouLou, that is THE most adorable selfie, with your little pink tongue!
Merci, J-kitties. I almost always slept like that, and maybe mama does too, haha.
Adorable snoozing selfie, just too cute!!!
Merci for your visit Basil and the B Team. Love your blog and info, always have.
That moon was amazing to see here, too! I often am still wake at 3am…like right now, when I come home from my workplace it’s hard to ‘turn off’ my head so I do ‘stuff’ on the confuser till I get tired. Maybe I should read some boring tome which would have me asleep in 5 seconds, I think!
Glad your garden got a good drink.
Yes, read The Critique of Pure Reason or something like that, haha. Or do the Marine sleep breathing exercises…in for 4 counts, deep, out for 7, slowly, or count backwards from 100 or get on an imainagry carpet and fly to places you would like to see. That works.
