HA HA mama LOVED THEM, brilliant musicians and your mama WENT? WOW. We are impressed. Mama saw Elvis once…but she was a child and couldn’t see the stage.
da mum haz seen da dead more dan 100 times, and jerry’s bands and bobbys bands. she grew up in da south bay area.
Wow, well mama was a friend of Janis’s road manager, John Cooke, and Bobby Dylan’s road mamager, Bob Neuwirth and she hung out with all these folkd, the Muldaurs, Jim Queskin Jug Band, and went to the Blind Lemon often for blues singers like Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee. I think mama is older than your young mama…..oops, she’s staring at me….
MOL!!! mum loved janis but neber got to see her perform, yes, janis died when mum wuz in jr.hi, she remebers riding here bike to da record store to buy the pearl album when it came out
Oh, what memories, some not so happy, but what a voice! A wild woman, that’s for sure. Hope she kept that album.
