Has it really stopped raining? I did what I could…now can I hug someone whithout getting wet?
*****
Well, thanks to our skies who seem to have run out of water.
Thanks to the hard-working humans across the country who are protesting peacefully again tyranny, violent ICE actions and our demented you know who.
Thanks to you all, as always, for helping keep our spirits up with positive thoughts and deeds and funnies to make us smile.
Did you know that hugs release endorphins and dopamine and seratonin in both/all hugging bodies and give an ‘uplift” to those hugging? So get out there! HUG SOMEONE/SOMETHING today! I’m sure there is a “Hug Your Pug” day somewhere…

And thankful for music from a young musician playing God Save the Queen long ago, but it’s also America The Beautiful…sigh.

We need more hugging in this world!
Oh, you are so right and we hug all day long around here!!!!
So happy the rain has stopped, Loulou. Now your mama can definitely get out and hug someone – hugs are the best!
Well, she has an in-house hugger, haha. So lucky for us. Her step daughter is going to Tanzania in a few months and any tips would be welcome. She and a couple of friends are looking for a reasonable safari package. Merci if you have info.
Hugging is a great way to reduce stress. As the sponsor of National Hugging Day says, get consent, then hug!
YES YES consent for sure or you won’t know who’s going to show up, haha. Swartznegger for example….!!!
The positive physical effects from a hug are real. The late Leo Buscaglia wrote quite a bit about this.
Oui, we knew about that and should probably put a link to his knowlege about hugging. Endorphins galore and dopamie levels soaring…
Hopefully you’ll get dried out before more raindrops fall on your heads.
That young man is off to a good start in his ‘career’!
Amazing, no? But he gave it up and is now a football (soccer) player with his Rome team of young men. Loves football.
