Well, mama and papa are saying merci to Claude Malhuret, the French senator who stood up to Trump and criticized what the president of the USA is doing to our country.
And above all, we are thankful for all of you who may sometimes go through anguish about reading these thoughts, not knowing whether they will make you smile or wish you had a Xanax, haha.
Thank you, dear readers.
Thank you for your comments, which we LOVE to read, and thank you for being patient with these ramblings during this very unsettling time.
I am off to sit in on mama searing some salmon to go with green beans and almonds. Mama THINKS she feels I am somewhere around but then she realizes that’s really not the case, but I have fun funning with her as she cooks.
Especially when it’s salmon, haha. With my new powers, I can taste that salmon as if were jumping into my little bouche!
Thanks for listening….

Salmon with crispy skin corn on the cob and green beans with almonds

I wish more would stand up to the orange guy. That salmon looks delicious!
I think judges are trying very hard to do that and stop his exportation of Venezuelas…can you imagine???? Breaking up families. He is a member of the Gestapo!!
Ah, Loulou, that reminds me of how my sweet kitty, Queenie would sit with me while I cooked. I, too, feel her presence still. Maybe you’ll pass each other on a kitty cloud. Your mama’s meal looks so delicious.
Well I loved doing that, too. And I wish Queenie were till with you, sigh. I’ll look for her…
Gosh that dinner looks wonderful……!!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
SO SO simple. Grill the piece of salmon under a broiler for 8 minutes in a pan with a little olive oil or to be exotic, a little soy, sesame oil and ginger, or a litle butter and while wine but not much. All are good.
Sometimes you need to forget your troubles for a few minutes with a good meal.
Oui, oui, as in DAILY around here since mama is a seasoned cook, haha.
I don’t eat fish, but the veggies look tasty. XO
Oh, mama says you might really like this seared salmon….
Such yummy food! I agree that it’s an awful mess here. I like to visit pet blogs to escape those thoughts. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Je comprend, Mr T, and we try to present something sweet for forgetfulness along with links….a link is a choice at least. But in these days, mama has trouble not being herself, an activist.
