Here’s my little cloud friend, wanting to play!
Well, thanks to papa’s very helpful insights about mama’s would-be Substack review that she was writing and now ditched, mama has decided to do a third book, part memoire, part recipes, observations, photos and more and two days of blogging were put on hold.
She was a bit up in the clouds like me, I think….Her head, anyway.
Important message days missed, too. As in Monday’s spark:
One has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws. Martin Luther King Jr. Get up, stand up, Stand up for your rights. Get up, stand up, Don’t give up the fight.
I, however, am off to roll around in these incredible clouds we are seeing lately…

These are clouds mama and papa photographed, but you can join The Cloud Appreciation Society and see some real doozies!

We love your clouds, Angel LouLou. Wishing your mommy Good Luck on the writing of a new book🍀Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day to the both of you🐾😽💞
We love your pawkisses!
Those clouds look so soft. They must be fun to play in.
Oh, I have great fun up here and lots of friends…
What a great spark, Loulou, and so true. On your mama’s advice I checked out the cloud club and it’s wonderful, as are all those picturesque clouds you’ve posted.
It’s wonderful to wake up to a lovely cloud each morn…
Beautiful cloud photos……AND wonderful news that your Mama is going to do another book which sounds really interesting! I’m sure you will be her inspiration no matter what she chooses to write……… 🙂
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Well, let’s hope she can pull it off….at this age…haha.
Wow, Loulou, those are fabulous clouds, indeed! That is also a fantastic idea, to combine recipes with memoir. I have in fact, in the last few years, read part of a book series that, although fiction, portrays an area and a community, and includes recipes, though they’re at the end. It’s called The Moonlight Ridge series, by Ramey Channell. Both this and the idea you are considering are interesting new ways to include recipes in narrative works. Important words from MLK, Jr, too!
Mama is looking that up. She’s reading one, too, just by chance, that she started just after she decided how to write her next one. It’s called The Briar Club, and recipes started appearing as she read!
I would love to learn to write, I’m sure your mama will have an excellent book before long. As for the clouds, they are wonderful, it does not surprise me there’s a Cloud Appreciation Society.
Isn’t it wonderful to see those clouds atha others have seen in so many parts of the world.
Those are such beautiful clouds, purrfect for a cloud ride!
