Well, not so fun when the AC is tempermemtal! But our nice guy will be back in town today and says he’ll try to come by TODAY, Sunday, if her can get here, or it has to be tomorrow. Mama is making extra ice cubes…

And the orange-haired says there is no climate problem and has bought an island off the coast of Albania to develop into a luxury resort. One might wonder where the money comes from, non?

Easy creamy hummus:
1 can of chickpeas, half the liquid removed
3 cloves garlic,
Juice of a lemon
2 tablespoons tahine (sesame paste)
Small sprig of mint
Small dash of cumin
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil depending on how thick you like your hummus
2 tablespoons cold water
Salt to taste
Whiz it all up untik very smooth and enjoy on crackers, vegetables, or just about anything.

Oh, Teddy, stay IN. This heat is deceptive and can knock you out without warning. Mama said she feels like a wet washcloth and moves very slowly.

Hummus is so good! We long ago got room A/C units instead of one big central unit which kept breaking and leaving us in the lurch. It’s much better and they use less electricity, we only cool where we actually are.
We do that, too, or at least can turn off cool in rooms not needing it. Very economical.
It sure is hot here too, I hope the AC keeps working!
