Am I staying cool or what? My cloud has AC…
Well, it’s just to hot to think, so I let mama take these on:
1. Lately, my main focus is __trying not to have the orange-haired madman in my daily life.
2. I crave __cool suppers and LOVE reading during a nap in the hot middle of the day_.
3. I get my best ideas __when cooking or gardening.
4. I only trust __my honey and (sometimes Loulou or my lemon tree or rose garden) with my biggest secrets.
Mama is keeping her limes in an egg carton so she can find them easily for G and Ts,, haha….
Sorry mama could not find any videos of the piano competition but they may surface over the next few days. She couldn’t video because it caused too much distraction, but the three young women were incredible. How any musician keeps that music in the head with NO score to read from is absolutely amazing. They were are spectacular, and so YOUNG,….
We’ll keep looking for videos.

Oh, Murphy, you are so cool, and merci for that. You can also start little seedlings in egg crates…but kitties don’t do much gardening other than watering, right?
Good job filling in the blanks!! Keeping cool is our priority too – it’s been in the 100s and on top of that we keep getting thunderstorms and torrential rains! What’s with that?? Anyway – keep cool……that’s easy for cats but not so easy for humans.

You can say that again. Neither mama or papa have any energy in this heat. A litte iced coffee is nice in the afternoon, but jeez, Louise, mama doesn’t remembe feeling like this in her early childhood Houston heat days! Uh oh, maybe time changes things, haha.
A cool supper is a must and as for a midday siesta, it’s the best invention.
We’ll think of you napping! Good company.
