Sometimes we need a new perspective.
Maybe some of you out there know the lovely website http://wwwallaboutcats.com/ created by Doron Wolffberg, but if you don’t, please go take a peek and let him know you visited. I recently did a blog for him, and you can visit and read my guest blog here. It was great fun, and I’m sure he would love to hear from others who might wish to be a visitor blogger on his site.
I told him lots of stuff about me and where I came from and sort of poured out part of my soul, but I guess that’s what we do when we write; we want to share a little piece of our inner sanctums with others. Deep ponderings such as “Is the glass you are looking at half full or half empty?”
Thoughts like those are always stirred up when one is as reflective a kitty as I am. Other existential questions arise when one is in deep meditation.
Things like how low is down or if to think is to be and to be is to think then do we exist if our minds are blank?
Or, what was before the Big Bang, whatever that is?
Well, as you can clearly see, writing for another blogger is very stimulating and exciting, and I thank Doron for publishing my fleeting thoughts.
The only thing is, it sort of wears one out, all this pondering. It’s a good thing I don’t have a navel or I could spend way too much time…well, you know what some anthros do with navels, right?
Uh, oh, with all this philosophizing I have missed NAP TIME! HORRORS!
Next, I’ll miss dinner and THEN WHAT?
We think your fluffy tummy is just so tempting and we would LOVE to smooch it (risky huh?)
Well, I haven’t had that happen yet but I think mama should be the first, just in case. I do LOVE the hand.
we finks thats the tummy am always fur rubbing whether the glass am full or half empty or was put way in the cupboard from the dishwasher. best to get some beauty rest instead… Hope you found the naptime again.

Going back to that website NOW to read your blog. You are so wise and philosophical. That’s the cat in you so I will try and understand better – but I asked maman about the Big Bang and she told me not to worry about THAT since I’ve been neutered. Whew. Now to that website………..

Is it me, or is that glass really really BIG? Anyways such deep and meaningful questions deserve much napping time but I can answer the the Big Bang question for you, right now in fact. Apparently what came before the Big Bang was peep trying to rewire the microwave! There you have it, a simple answer to mans most taxing question… al they had to do was ask the right Princes!
