Hey, this is NOT a mermaid!
Well, and this is clearly NOT a mermaid but one of mama’s Shadow Pics that she insists on taking all over the planet and I think that’s a ruin of a Greek temple she is leaning on, but what do I know? I think it is at Tindari, the ruins of a Greek theatre and settlement way before I had anything to do with being here!
Hey, I wonder if mama and papa have met a mermaid now that they are by the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea, even if it is all rocks and mama twisted her knee and so is especially careful, but if she has met a mermaid, maybe she could get some help in the water instead of, excuse the expression, dog-paddling around like a bambina!
I think mama should duck under and look around for that lady with the fish tail and ask if she can get some instruction on how to swim with your legs fused together, because that’s what I think mama is going to have to do…tie her apendages together in order NOT to use the knee, haha.
I should’t be laughing at this, it’s really not serious, she says, but since I am ABANDONED here (even if cutting up like crazy with my NEW PERFECT FRIEND), I thought I would do some funnin’ about mama hobbling on the beach. Actually she is not even hobbling but she is being VERY careful. Still, she says the little anthros are so, so cute. Maybe I’ll get some photos soon and will let you in on their antics. But meanwhile, I am off to MINE!

Loulou, we thought that shadow was you until we read your text. If you turn this so your mom’s arm is in the top of the frame, it totally looks like a cat ear. Ouch, your poor mama. This is not the time to wrench her knee. Come to think of it, it never is the time to do that, but do humans listen? Perhaps at this moment in time you are having more fun than she is? At least your knees are intact.
Uh, where exactly are my knees? Oh, well, yes, at least they are working. And mama is better because she’s coming back soon.
