Waiting for Microsoft to talk to me. Waiting for Internet Explorer to Explore!
Well, while mama is still away, I’m going to have to go to war with Microsoft over the fact that my internet explorer is not finding anything, and that’s some explorer!!! Well, let’s just say it is FINDING things, but very, very slowly. My AOL opened and I tried to write mama and my little pea brain works so fast (along with my paws) that I looked to see what I had written and THERE WERE NO WORDS THERE!
About a gazillion seconds later, up comes the first letter D , for Dear, but meanwhile, I am snoozing next to the computer waiting for my words of wisdom to show up on my email!!!
See this computer screen? It’s not mine but it’s what my pages look like! Sort of…
So I call AOL and the nice man says, try to open with Foxfire, and so I do, and the emails become normal, which is how I learned from the AOL man that it is INTERNET EXPLORER that is screwing up the works.
So I call Microsoft and they say they have never spoken to a cat before but they’ll make an exception and so they do and they say, “Well, if you want to pay for service, say ‘yes’ and if not, say ‘no’ and I said ‘no’ because I think I should consult with MY Microsoft guru (mama) when she gets home.
So if I send out fairly short info blogs for the next few days, it’s because everything is like molasses here and my words are not keeping up with my grey matter.
Going bonkers!
Any suggestions about Microsoft and making Internet Explorer go faster are welcome.
Meanwhile, I hope your Earth Day was…well…earthy and lovely. Mine was. I went out to the garden (earth) and daydreamed about getting the planet healthy and more loved by its inhabitants, anthros and animals.

I called Microsoft and they said they had fixed it, but it was not fixed. However, AOL was fixed because I went to Foxfire instead of Internet Explorer…all is well. Thank you for your concern!
Oh LouLou we just hate when da catputer does dat. Mommy hates da explorer browser and more offen than not we use da google one. But Foxfire is good too. As fur makin’ explorer work better we can’t give any advice there. We do use da Microsoft Live Writer to write me’s blogs and then upload them to wordpress to publish, but it has nothin’ to do with da innernet browser. Good luck.

Boy, Dezi, you sound like a PRO! And Foxfire did work eventually, at least for AOL, which does NOT work with internet explorer. I still think it’s just where we are and that we have a slow connection.
How rude of Microsoft to want to charge you – a famous cat – for service. We use Firefox, don’t like IE. Have you tried an energy drink for the computer? No, guess it would slow things down even more.
We are sad for the families of William and Forrest. 🙁
Yes, William and Forrest are a sad story. And maybe the energy drink might be the big pond into which I toss mama’s and my computer!!! Just kidding. I think I had better change to Firefox for everything. I do have both. Good advice.
