A holiday smile for you
No, I am NOT sending out eggnog to everyone who reads my blog, but I would if I could! Even I love eggnog (without the Jack Daniels, thank you) but mama isn’t a big sweet-eater and so we don’t make a lot of it around here.
I just thought some holiday photos would be nice to gaze upon, and when I heard about he store that had a tree lady in the window, I just had to put the photo in. So imaginative! And they do it every year. Mama wants to wear that skirt, but I think it would be a bit prickly…
As for the others, there are simple but very pretty lights on our street, and there was a Neapolitan chef who created an extraordinary Christmas tree outside of his little café, not to mention all the kitties in Largo Argentina who come up to the street from their ruins to get tidbits from passersby, and more scenes of the season.

Well, I wish you were here NOW because you are right–such a place. But I look out the window and imagine because I can’t go in the streets (even if the kitty downstairs, Lupa, goes EVERYWHERE!).
What interesting Christmas decorations! Ernie would love to climb the tree dress. 😉 Do you know we’ve never had eggnog??
Well, better not to start. It’s REALLY good but I’m not sure how much is good for kitties. Maybe just a lick off the spoon.
Jan has a craving for some egg nog (non alcholic too) but couldn’t find any at the store today.
So get some cream, some vanilla, and some sugar and stir it all up…no need for eggs but a yolk might be nice.
Lulu sweetie, you are sooooo cute. We really enjoyed seeing some of your city. Thanks so much for sharing with us. M and D went to Rome about 5 years ago, and they loved it there. They were on a cruise, so only in port for 1 day, but saw a lot. I had to stay home. (sigh)
Oh, boy, but you did NOT want to be on that ship, trust me. I go on one every now and then and I always throw up once and then sleep through the whole ordeal….
Thank you for such lovely pictures. Mum is English and is a European at heart, she loves mainland Europe and the cities. Oh and we love the penguins too – so clever…… but…… the skirt *shudders * too prinkly says mum (but we could at the spaghetti Christmas tree!)
Might be a bit chewy, but worth a try. I like mine cooked with cream sauce…the spaghetti, not the tree.

Well, the real Fanny is even prettier but this one at the cat shelter is bound to be a cousin of the one in Missouri. She is even in a book, Notes from Breakfast Creek, a lovely book by her mama, Cathy Salter.
