Mule Train

You’d think the could walk in a straight line, right? Pompanette is in the rear, trying to organize everything as usual.

Well, the donks and the mule, Pompanette, are back but heaven knows I’m not going up there to their pasture to see those creatures who only have to LOOK at mama and she melts and hands them apples and carrots and takes them food from the feed store—real food, not just whatever anyone leaves in a sack on his door for the owner of those incessantly hungry animals.

And not just stale bread from the local bakery, which they love. The bread, not the bakery.

But when mama’s loyalty is divided over these things, I get a little irked worrying about whether she’s going to spend more time with them than with fascinating, captivating ME.

Still, once you’ve fed a donkey, that’s about it for the visit. I mean, do they stretch out their paws all languid-like and take interesting baths (especially the washing of paws) and, oh, yeah, do they GIVE MAMA A BATH? No way, Jose.

So I guess I shouldn’t really worry that much.

I’ll just get lost in my own scintillating thoughts and amuse myself.

Who needs company?  And mama says, “Don’t talk too much about the donkey’s return.  Loulou might get jealous.”

As papa says, “Hey, Loulou’s a CAT, she’s not listening to us.”

You wanna bet?

How do you think I heard about those wonky donks?

And have you ever seen a DONKEY in a mask like this?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! And Happy Birthday, papa’s son, Simon.

We think it’s nice that your mama gives the donkeys some good foods. And that’s some mask you’re wearing! Can you see out of it??

Donkeys & Mules are very comfy to sit on, on a chilly winter morning Loulou. A cat who came before, left us a message about this. He had tried it & loved it.

Be thankful for Donkeys & Mules, especially ‘cos they aren’t goats and won’t eat your Mama’s clothes.

Reply to  Loulou

When the ape was tiny, her parents fostered some goats. The little ape watched a goat eat the hood from her Dad’s anorak! 🙂

So those donkeys live very close to you? We assume they do since your mama goes to feed them.

We agree you have much more to interest your mama than those donkeys do but she doesn’t see them all the time so they’re a novelty. You’re loved. 🙂
