Trump Card

So would you vote for this guy?

Hmmm…I’ve been thinking; what rhymes with Trump?

Frump, clump, grump, hump, lump, mump, plump, slump, sump, rump, stump, thump, and dump.

Which I hope the American people will decide as the best action when it comes time to choose.

Not very pretty words, right? Well, what do you expect when your name is not very nice in the first place. He sounds like a bridge play, whatever that is, or a dirty trick.

Mama’s mama used to play bridge and won most of the time. Now her aunt does the same thing. So “trump” in those cases is an acceptable word, but as a proper name? I’d rather be called ANYTHING but that!

What if mama and papa had named me Coucou or Mumu or Poopoo instead of Loulou?

Oh, boy.

Well, take care with this guy. He’s a trump card with two faces. And as my mama’s mama used to call someone “a real card”, meaning pretty strange. Fits right in.

How is it that so many scions of industry were such schmucks? Henry Ford, Joe Kennedy, and others would definitely not be on mama’s dinner party list.  Oh, and Lindbergh.

Of couse, I would edit the list anyway before the invitations went out. And that trumped up guy would never be considered.

Here’s how I feel about the whole debaucle.  But mama says it’s not nice to stick out your tongue at anyone.  So I do it in the privacy of my boudoir…
