Sleeping Around

Well, it is hot as harissa here and I just can’t get comfortable. Right now I’m under the couch, but it’s a bit stuffy. Then I draped myself over the couch but the sun came out and I was right in its path. So then I went under the bed to my favorite place (that room has an air conditioner but mama is always turning it up because she’s freezing and does not care for air conditioning anyway), but that didn’t work so now I’m back under the couch.

As for sleeping around in general, I’ll be spending a couple of nights on the road, who knows where and will just curl up wherever they let me out of my cag….er…traveling compartment.

These guys don’t know what a seasoned kitty I am to be able to wander around the various continents with them (well, this one, anyway—the others aren’t yet to come, I hope) just any old time that pleases them and I sit so quietly and calmly on the back seat and just sigh every now and then to let them know I am 1. bored 2. longing for space and 3. stoned out of my kitty mind on that great stuff by Beaphar that is a sort of Prozac for kitties, I think, whatever Prozac is.

Man, that stuff is STRONG.

But, hey, things could be tougher, no? I could be wandering around that ruin for kitties having to tussle with a few other felines for food, right?

Life is good.

Hot, but good.

Maybe if I hide, they’ll leave me here.

HEY, HAPPY JULY 4TH TO EVERYONE.  We kitties are symbols of INDEPENDENCE!

I think we’re going off on the 4th, too…at least I know I am!
