Well, mama and papa are so happy to have a very old and wonderfiul friend visiting in Rome for a few days. I think mama and she went out today and did some damage at the local department store…..
But that same store is built on the discovered ruins of an aqueduct, a giant one that carried water to the Trevi Fountain and so many other places. It is amazing to see in the video and very moving….that it was discovered and became part of the department store, we are thankful so that all can see its glory.
We are thankful for the sweet visit of our very dear friend who has had a loss recently and we are so thankful we could be here for her.
And, as always, we are thankful for you, dear readers, and mama has to say this: JACK SMITH. Thank heaven for him….
And we are thankful that artichokes are starting to be in the markets…mama is thrilled!
